#Reputation takes a lifetime to build and moments to set ablaze. Allan’s advice is bang on; prepare, plan, and practice. Know the issues within your industry, expect an issue to arise, and have a practiced plan ready to roll out when an issue occurs.
I’ll add one piece of my own #PR advice. After the incident, stick to the plan. Don’t go getting any bright and creative ideas, and then thinking they’re better than the collective guidance that went into creating the plan to begin with. That and give me a call if you need a hand.
